Reminds me of conferences coming up next Friday. It will be nice to see all of you! Hope you are enjoying Spring Break. Here is what we have planned for when you return.

Algebra 2 - Students will be start the week by simplifying rational expressions. We will learn how to add, subtract multiply and divide them. We will simplify complex fractions and learn they are not too 'complex'. We will learn how to solve rational equations.

Geometry - We will start by finding areas and perimeters of similar figures by using similarity ratios. We learn how to find areas of regular polygons and triangles using trigonometry. The Sine and Cosine Laws will be introduced. We then learn about the measure of central angles and arcs. We will be able to find areas of circles, sectors and segments of circles.
